Please join us for a public celebration of Liber XV: The Gnostic Mass.  This mass will be preceded by Baptisms and followed by a Confirmation.

Only those being baptized and confirmed will be partaking of communion on this evening.

There is a suggested contribution of $5.00 to help cover the cost of renting and maintaining our temple facility.

Doors open at 7:00pm and Mass begins promptly at 7:30pm.

Join us at Sekhet-Maat Lodge in Portland, Oregon on Saturday December 31st, 2011 for the celebration of the Vulgar New Year.

This year’s theme is “The Gods Must Be Crazy: Interpretations of the Divine”. Come dressed as your favorite deity or your individualized concept of your favorite deity.

Attendance is open to members of Sekhet-Maat Lodge and their guests. It is ten dollars for members, and fifteen dollars for non-members. Your paid admission does include a wide selection of  hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages, plus a complimentary glass of champagne for our Midnight Toast. Our cash-bar will be open offering a wide variety of wine and micro-brews.

Sekhet-Maat Lodge is pleased to invite you to join us on Saturday, July 16th for an Advanced Series of Lectures on the Man of Earth Degrees presented by M. Dionysius Rogers. On Saturday, a deep array of initiate only materials will be presented, including:

Advanced Lectures on the Man of Earth Degrees

The Minerval Adventure: Explorations of the dramatic setting and cultural background of the Minerval ceremony, for initiates only.

The Powers behind Our First Degree: Esoteric analyses of the First Degree ritual, with a view to the ancient forces at play in the ceremony. Restricted to members who are True Men and Women.

The Powers behind Our Second Degree: Esoteric analyses of the Second Degree ritual, with a view to its particular magick. Restricted to members who initiated as Magicians.

The Pyramid and the Oasis: A study of the A∴A∴ Neophyte ritual of Liber DCLXXI and its usefulness for Master Magicians of O.T.O., along with a demonstration of ritual work based thereon. Restricted to members who are Master Magicians.

A Literary Key to the Man of Earth Ritual System: Tracing a serpent trail of allusions through the language and actions of our degrees. Restricted to full initiates of the Third Triad who are Perfect Initiates.

The Holy Guardian Angel in the Rite of E.G.C.

In the evening, a reception will feature an expansive selection of appetizers and a cash bar featuring a variety of wines and micro brew beers. Dionysius will be giving a public lecture open to all that evening on the Thelemic cornerstone doctrine of Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel as manifested within the operations of the Gnostic Catholic Church of O.T.O. All are welcome.

Parenting the Crowned and Conquering Child

The whole family is on the schedule for Sunday, July 17th! Dionysius and his wife, Sister Valerie, will be presenting a discussion of potentials and instruments for manifesting Thelema in the context of families with children, for O.T.O. members of at least the Minerval degree. Presented by Paradoxos Alpha and Sr. Sphinx.

• Lodge members of the appropriate degree are welcome to attend.
• We are also happy to extend our hospitality to initiates from outside our valley.

Note: The candidate(s) for each initiation are different people. It would take 3 years at a minimum for someone to go through the whole series as a candidate. Therefore only initiates of the III° will be able to attend the entirety of the celebration. Initiates of lower degrees may attend those initiations to which their degree entitles them.
